The Student Experience At The University Of Portsmouth

Hi, my name's Cerys, and I study at the University of Portsmouth, and I'm on the course of MRes in Creative Industries.

The three words I would use to describe my university life are social, independent, and just really fun.

Of all of the universities in the UK, I chose Portsmouth because it's right on the seafront, and I love being by the beach.

I knew this university was right for me because as soon as I came to the Open Day, I felt so welcome, and I felt like I fit in straight away.

I was part of the Dramatic Musical Society, where we put on one show a year and got to perform it at the theatre. And it was so cool and you met so many people doing it. And one of the good things about Portsmouth Uni is that there are so many societies to join. If you've got an interest, there'll be a society.
