Cerys talks about her course

Hi my name's Cerys and I study at the University of Portsmouth and I'm on the course of MRes in Creative Industries.

The three words I would use to describe my course are independent, creative, and challenging.

Because I do a master's in research, I get to pick what I study and when, so every day for me is different. So some days I'll be in seminars and other days I'll just be at home researching.

I'm learning new things every day while I do my MRes. So it could be about different terms and things in the creative industry or it could be about how to cite properly or how to academically write and research. And it's so, so interesting and because every day is different, I never get bored.
