Rachel describes life in Fountain halls, University of Portsmouth

0
Hi, my name is Rachel and I study at the University of Portsmouth. I'm currently an undergraduate in International Relations and Modern Languages.

In my first year, I lived in Halls in a mixed corridor and it was en-suite and a catered accommodation. What I loved the most about where I lived in my first year was the fact that my accommodation was catered so I did not have to worry about making food. I also really enjoyed the fact that I lived very close to my friends and they were all just a walk away.

I would say that one thing I miss the most about living in halls is the fact that they're very, very close to the city centre. I also really enjoyed the fact that I could pop into town and get everything I needed. Another thing that I miss about living in halls is the fact that it was very close to university. Therefore, I could sleep for a little bit longer before having to get to my lectures.
