Lenie tells us about studying at University of Leicester

Hi, my name is Lenie and I'm studying Medicine at the University of Leicester.
Three words that I would use to describe my university life are exciting, fun, and educational.
Out of all the universities in the UK, I chose this one because my sister went here, so she still lives locally, so it'd be nice to see her more often. And it just seemed like a really, really welcoming university with loads of facilities and loads of different support available, which it certainly was.
I knew that this uni was right for me when in the first few weeks I discovered that everyone was so nice including all the students, and all the staff and everyone who was there to help.
So I joined quite a few clubs and societies, and one of the main ones that joined was netball. I joined medics netball, but I also joined the university netball, which was a great way of getting to know other people who aren't on my course and doing different things, so to expand all my friendship groups, and also a great way to exercise, and have fun, and stay fit while I'm at uni.
