Medical Physiology At The University Of Leicester

Claudia describes a typical day on the Medical Physiology degree and tells us about a module she loves

Hi, my name is Claudia and I'm currently studying Medical Physiology at the University of Leicester.

Three words I would use to describe my course would be exciting innovative and eye-opening.

A day on my course as I'm carrying out my final year project would involve going to the lab, setting up equipment, carrying out my experiment and recording all the stuff that I'm doing on my lab book.

Something that I'm learning on my course that is really fascinating is the mechanism behind hearing loss when we're exposed to really loud sounds and what causes that ringing sound that can happen in some people's ears.
